The mission of Jane Goodall's Global Youth Summit is to create a cadre of engaged, active youth leaders dedicated to making positive changes happen in their communities and in the world.
Attendees are outstanding young people, with a strong history of community service, demonstrated leadership qualities, ability to articulate ideas and concepts and a commitment to returning home with a solid plan of action over the coming year. Under the vision of the woman who redefined man, Dr. Jane Goodall, these youth will come together and create community action plans addressing the following topic areas: - Poverty
- Wildlife conservation
- Water sanitation and scarcity
- Environmental degradation
Together, these youth will not only take action but discuss what it will take to break down cultural and trans-national boundaries. By doing so, they will learn how to work together to make a difference and the importance of collaboration when it comes to solving our world's greatest problems.
